Job Description

As the Product Marketer, you will develop high-impact, audience-focused content that highlights Feroot’s product features, benefits, and unique value propositions. You will collaborate with Feroot’s founders, along with product management, sales, demand generation, customer success and design teams to create a wide range of materials, including website copy, email campaigns, whitepapers, and social media content. Your ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, engaging copy will drive lead generation, support sales enablement, and reinforce Feroot’s position as a trusted cybersecurity partner.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation and Messaging

  • Craft clear, compelling, and brand-consistent copy for Feroot’s marketing website (feroot.com), landing pages, product descriptions, and other public-facing assets.
  • Develop content for multi-channel marketing campaigns, including email sequences, social media posts (LinkedIn, X, etc.), blog posts, case studies, and video scripts.
  • Create product-focused materials such as datasheets, whitepapers, one-pagers, and sales enablement content that articulate Feroot’s value proposition to IT professionals, compliance officers, and C-suite executives.
  • Simplify complex cybersecurity and compliance concepts (e.g., PCI DSS, HIPAA, GDPR) into accessible, persuasive messaging for diverse B2B audiences.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work with the broader marketing team to align copy with product positioning, go-to-market strategies, and campaign objectives.
  • Collaborate with sales and demand generation teams to develop targeted content that supports pipeline growth and account-based marketing (ABM) initiatives.
  • Work with design and digital teams to ensure copy integrates seamlessly with visual assets, maintaining a cohesive and professional brand experience.
  • Coordinate with field marketing to create content for events, webinars, and in-person engagements that drives lead capture and nurturing.

Brand Voice and Content Strategy

  • Maintain and evolve Feroot’s brand voice, ensuring all content is professional, consistent, and reflective of our mission to make the web safer and more secure.
  • Develop messaging frameworks and key talking points for product launches, feature updates, and industry trends in cybersecurity and SaaS.
  • Act as a brand advocate, ensuring all copy resonates with target audiences and reinforces Feroot’s leadership in the cybersecurity market.

Content Optimization and Performance

  • Optimize website and campaign copy for SEO/GEO using tools like Yoast SEO and Google Analytics to improve search and LLM visibility and engagement.
  • Conduct A/B testing on email subject lines, CTAs, and landing page copy to maximize conversion rates and lead generation.
  • Track and analyze content performance metrics (e.g., click-through rates, time on page, lead conversions) using tools like HubSpot and Google Analytics, and iterate based on data-driven insights.

Market Research and Audience Insights

  • Conduct research to understand customer pain points, competitive positioning, and emerging trends in the cybersecurity, GRC, and compliance sectors.
  • Tailor content to address the needs of specific buyer personas, including technical buyers, business leaders, and compliance professionals.
  • Stay updated on industry developments to ensure content remains relevant, timely, and competitive.

Required Experience/Skills

We’re looking for a creative, results-driven Product Marketer with a passion for storytelling and a strong understanding of B2B marketing processes, who is:

  • Proven track record of writing compelling, product-focused copy for B2B tech, cybersecurity, or SaaS products with measurable impact on engagement or pipeline.
  • 5+ years of experience (or 3 years of experience backed by stellar results) in product marketing, content marketing, or copywriting roles, preferably in B2B tech, cybersecurity, or SaaS.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft clear, persuasive, and audience-focused content across multiple formats (e.g., web, email, whitepapers).
  • Proficiency in content management systems (e.g., WordPress) and marketing tools (e.g., HubSpot, SFDC, Google Analytics).
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple content projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Data-driven mindset, with experience analyzing content performance and optimizing for engagement and conversions.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying content opportunities that drive brand growth.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for simplifying technical concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Ability to work from our downtown Toronto office full-time and travel internationally (U.S., Europe, APAC) if required for team meetings or events.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours during peak campaign or product launch periods.
