The Field Marketing and Social Media Manager is a pivotal role within our marketing team, responsible for driving qualified pipeline through strategic field marketing and relevant, brand-forward social media. . In this role you’ll own execution across trade shows, regional events, webinars and digital channels, while leveraging social media to amplify Feroot’s brand and cement our position in the market.

Job Description

You will harness your business development expertise to generate leads and pipeline through in-person conferences, industry events, and digital engagements such as webinars and web conferences, while also leveraging social media conversations to build relationships and generate qualified leads. Utilizing cutting-edge AI and Gen-AI tools and other enrichment platforms, you will execute targeted prospecting campaigns that maximize outreach efficiency and foster meaningful connections with high-potential prospects.

Key Responsibilities:

Field Marketing & Event Strategy

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute field marketing initiatives, including trade shows, conferences, webinars, and customer events with the express goal of lead generation.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to align field marketing activities with pipeline goals and priorities.
  • Manage event logistics, including vendor negotiations, booth setup, and promotional materials, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Develop and distribute pre- and post-event follow-up campaigns to nurture leads.
  • Track performance and report ROI with actionable insights.

Brand Advocacy and Community Building

  • Represent the company at industry events, acting as a brand ambassador to build relationships with prospects, partners, and influencers.
  • Develop initiatives to strengthen community engagement, such as user groups or customer advocacy programs.

Social Media Strategy and Management

  • Develop and implement social media strategies across platforms like LinkedIn, X, and other platforms to enhance brand awareness and engagement.
  • Create, curate, and schedule compelling content, including posts, videos, infographics, and stories, tailored to our B2B audience.
  • Engage with followers, respond to comments, and foster community interaction to build brand loyalty.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with product marketing, content, and growth teams to ensure cohesive messaging across all marketing channels.
  • Partner with sales to develop targeted campaigns that support sales objectives.
  • Collaborate with digital and design to create visually appealing assets for events and social media.

Performance Analysis and Reporting

  • Track and analyze the performance of field marketing and social media campaigns including various tools like Clay, Google Analytics, HubSpot, and other analytics platforms.
  • Prepare detailed reports on key metrics, including lead generation, engagement rates, and campaign ROI, to inform future strategies.

Required Experience/Skills

We’re looking for a hands-on hunter—a tech-savvy, goal-oriented professional with a passion for automation and a strong understanding of sales processes, who is:

  • Effective at lead generation via field marketing strategies.
  • Proven track record of planning and executing successful field marketing events, such as trade shows, conferences, or webinars, with measurable outcomes.
  • 3+ years of experience in field marketing or integrated marketing roles, preferably in a GRC/cybersecurity/compliance environment or B2B Tech SaaS.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including sales, product marketing, and design, to achieve marketing goals.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for crafting compelling, audience-focused content.
  • Proficiency in marketing tools, including CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Monday and SFDC), social media management tools, and analytics tools.
  • Data-driven mindset, with experience analyzing campaign performance and translating insights into actionable strategies.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for brand growth.
  • Ability to travel internationally including the United States, Europe and APAC if required. for events and willingness to work flexible hours during event season.

What You Bring

  • 3+ years in field or integrated marketing, ideally in B2B tech, cybersecurity, or SaaS
  • A strong understanding of social media for B2B audiences
  • Track record of running successful events with measurable pipeline impact
  • Experience creating engaging content and community engagement strategies
  • Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, SFDC, etc.)
  • Data-driven, creative, proactive, and organized
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to travel internationally for events (U.S., Europe, APAC)

Bonus Points

  • Experience marketing in GRC, cybersecurity, or compliance
  • Familiarity with frameworks like PCI DSS, HIPAA, GDPR, etc.
  • Graphic design experience (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)
  • Comfort with AI/Gen-AI tools (e.g., Clay, OpenAI)
  • Relationships with influencers or event organizers in the space
