Job Description
As the Graphic Designer for the marketing team, you will be responsible for designing a wide range of visual assets, including digital and print materials, to support Feroot’s marketing campaigns, website (feroot.com), and public-facing initiatives. You will collaborate with product marketing, demand generation, content, and web development teams to create brand-consistent designs that communicate Feroot’s value proposition and drive audience engagement. Your expertise in graphic design, branding, and visual storytelling will play a critical role in elevating our market presence and supporting pipeline growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Visual Design and Asset Creation
- Design visually appealing assets for multi-channel marketing campaigns, including social media graphics (LinkedIn, X), email templates, infographics, banners, and landing page visuals.
- Create print materials such as event booth graphics, brochures, datasheets, and promotional items for trade shows, conferences, and customer events.
- Develop product-focused visuals, including illustrations, icons, and diagrams, to simplify complex cybersecurity and compliance concepts (e.g., PCI DSS, HIPAA, GDPR) for B2B audiences.
- Design website assets for Feroot’s WordPress-based marketing site (feroot.com), ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and a seamless user experience.
Brand Consistency and Evolution
- Maintain and evolve Feroot’s brand identity, ensuring all visual assets adhere to brand guidelines, including color schemes, typography, and logo usage.
- Collaborate with internal and external design SME’s and implement evolving branding updates.
- Develop style guides and design templates to streamline asset creation and ensure consistency across marketing channels.
- Act as a brand advocate, ensuring all designs reflect Feroot’s mission to make the web safer and more secure while appealing to IT professionals, compliance officers, and C-suite executives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with product marketing to create visuals that align with product positioning, go-to-market strategies, and campaign objectives.
- Collaborate with demand generation and content teams to design assets that support lead generation, nurturing, and account-based marketing (ABM) initiatives.
- Work with the web development team to integrate designs into Feroot’s WordPress-based website, ensuring responsiveness, accessibility, and optimization for SEO and user experience.
- Coordinate with field marketing to produce event-specific visuals, such as booth setups and signage, that drive engagement at in-person and virtual events.
Design Optimization and Performance
- Optimize visual assets for web performance (e.g., file size, resolution) using tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or Figma to ensure fast load times and compatibility.
- Conduct A/B testing on visual elements (e.g., banners, CTAs) to maximize engagement and conversion rates.
- Analyze performance metrics for design assets (e.g., click-through rates, engagement) using tools like Google Analytics and HubSpot, and iterate based on data-driven insights.
- Ensure the website is compliant with applicable accessibility requirements.
Market Research and Creative Innovation
- Research design trends, competitor visuals, and industry best practices in cybersecurity, GRC, and SaaS to inform creative strategies.
- Develop innovative design concepts that differentiate Feroot in the market and resonate with target buyer personas.
- Stay updated on emerging tools and technologies, including AI-driven design platforms, to enhance efficiency and creativity.
Required Experience/Skills
We’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented Graphic Designer with a passion for visual storytelling and a strong understanding of B2B marketing, who has:
- Proven track record of designing high-impact visual assets for marketing campaigns, websites, or events with measurable engagement results.
- 3+ years of experience in graphic design or visual design roles, preferably in B2B tech, cybersecurity, or SaaS.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva, Figma, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of branding, typography, color theory, and layout principles for both digital and print media.
- Experience designing for web platforms (e.g., WordPress) and optimizing assets for SEO, accessibility, and user experience.
- Familiarity with marketing tools like HubSpot, Google Analytics, or SFDC for tracking design performance.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple design projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to work flexible hours during peak campaign or event periods.
