    Javascript Web Application Developer

    Feroot is rapidly scaling our organization and is looking for an experienced Javascript Web Application Developer (Full Stack). The developer will build product features, design and implement API methods, and improve the performance and reliability of our web application. 

    The Full Stack Web Application Developer will be using JavaScript (SailJS & VueJS) to build and enhance our client-side security product suite. The Developer must be comfortable working with a small team under minimal supervision and has the depth of experience to perform end-to-end application development (including UI, design and testing).


    • 3+ years of professional experience building web applications.
    • Understanding of how backend Javascript web applications work.
    • Experience with building and using backend JS frameworks like ExpressJS.
    • Experience with web application frameworks — e.g., VueJS, Angular, ReactJS.
    • Experience working with NoSQL databases like: MongoDB as well as ElasticSearch.
    • Ability to lead technical architecture discussions and help drive technical decisions.
    • Ability to write easily understandable and testable code with an eye towards long-term maintainability.
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to designers, support, and other developers.
    • Strong computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, programming languages, distributed systems, and information retrieval.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent training, fellowship, or work experience.
